Attendees and guests can get their hands dirty at this year’s sandcastle building contest and you’ll get to keep your bucket and shovel as souvenirs. Castles will be “judged” on creativity in the following areas: originality, technical difficulty, faithfulness to theme, and execution. One prize will be awarded in three categories: Sand Fleas (up to 8 years old with an adult); Sand Hoppers (9 to 15 years old); and Sand Tribes (families).
